Notice - Disposal of Used Tires |

Simcoe Kart Club has encountered problems with people leaving used tires on 3-S Go Karts property. Discarded used tires and oil are among the most serious issues faced by all track owners.
Mike Adams of MG Tires Canada has offered to appropriately dispose of used tires delivered to him. All you need to do is take your used tires to the MG Tires trailer instead of throwing them in a garbage container or abandoning them.
Thanks to Mike for offering this service, and thanks to all of you for helping us to be more environmentally responsible. |

SKC Bulletin - Junior Heavy Minimum Weight |

Simcoe Kart Club has altered its 2010 Supplementary Regulations as they apply to the Junior Heavy class. The minimum weight has been changed from 295 pounds to 290 pounds.

SKC Bulletin - Rotax Mini Max Regulations |

In order to remain consistent with the BSRKC 2010 Supplementary Regulations, Simcoe Kart Club has altered its 2010 Supplementary Regulations as they apply to the Rotax Mini Max class. Rotax Mini Max will now require a D or D+ license, and will run on 11 x 6.50 - 5 rear tires for the entire 2010 season.

Jim McGlade has shared a gallery of photos from SKC/TKC Race 1 at Sutton. The forecast rain did not appear, and a solid day of racing was sandwiched by the presentation of the 2009 SKC Class Champions rings and the awards ceremony for the day's racing.

SKC Members Elect New Board of Directors |

Last Sunday, December 13, the Simcoe Kart Club held its Fall General Meeting and Elections at 401 Mini Indy. More than 70 people attended to elect the new Board of Directors, review the successes of 2009 and table the new items for the 2010 SKC racing season. SKC wishes to thank the outgoing Directors for their contributions throughout the year and for their assistance in capping the 2009 season with a wonderful year-end banquet celebration. |
