SKC Hosts Special Mid-Season Half-Hour Enduro and BBQ |
Tuesday, 22 June 2010 |
Simcoe Kart Club is hosting a special half hour enduro race and pot luck BBQ this Sunday, June 27 at 3-S Go Karts in Sutton. This special event is generously sponsored by Geordie Ledson’s Cavalier Transportation Services Inc., and everyone is invited. The racing will be conducted on the Senna track in the clockwise direction. Each of the classes will race for half an hour. It’s meant to be a fun day and participating Simcoe Kart Club members will each receive 100 points. SKC points will not be awarded for finishing 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc., so everybody wins! And, since our member’s points won’t be impacted by their finishing positions, all other ASN affiliated club members are invited to race with us on whatever tires you choose. |

SKC Race 4 Sponsored by West End Auto Care and the Schindel Family |
Wednesday, 26 May 2010 |
Simcoe Kart Club’s Race #4 is this Sunday, May 30th at 3-S Go Karts in Sutton. It is sponsored by West End Auto Care Service and Repair and Roy Schindel. Roy tells me that his sons Wesley and Jeremy will be racing with us this weekend. Roy has also informed me that he is bringing lots of draw prizes for our trophy presentations. He, however, would not divulge any more than that. But, if the prizes he has brought in the past are any indication, then we certainly will be in for some wonderful surprises. Add to that the fact that the Novice class racers that purchased their 3-S track memberships will be racing with Simcoe Kart Club at no charge. Each of them will receive a trophy and a special goodie bag sponsored by JL Motorsports. The track will be set up in the Senna configuration and will be run in the counterclockwise direction. |
